It is how you can know in less than 5 minutes, how you can know 100% sure you are going to heaven when you die.

1. I John 5:11-13 says: "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath eternal life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. "

God says we can know were we can spend eternity.

2. We are not perfect, we do wrong and the bible calls this sin. We are call sinners.

Romans 3:10 says "As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one."

Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

Because of our sin, we fall short of God's glory which is heaven. It is like trying to jump from one side of the grand canyon to the other. No matter how fit you are, how much you have trained, or how healthy you are you'd fall short of the other side. You can not jump it.  It is the same concept, No matter how many good things you do. You will still fall short.

The bible says in Titus 3:5-7 " Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of the regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost:Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."

3. There is a Price that sin has.

The price is talked about in Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death..."
A wage is another word for paycheck. When you work X amount of hours you deserve X amount of pay. When you sin, you deserve Death and Hell.

 in Revelation 21:8 it says that "But the fearful and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

I know that I have told at least one lie, so I fit in this category. The price for my sin and your sin is to die and go to Hell.

BUT.....

4. God loved us so much he did not want us to go there he gave us a way of escape.

in Romans 5:8 " But God commended his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Even though we did the bad things, God loved us so much he sent some to take our place His very son.

That was the reason for him coming to this earth and dying on the cross; it was for you and for me.

and better yet he gives us the free gift of salvation

5. Someone had to die it was the law of God, but in God grace he gave us a replacement so that we could spend eternity with Him.

Romans 6:23 "...but the gift of God is through Jesus Christ our Lord"

6. How do we get this free gift?

Believe that Jesus is the Lord and ask Him to take you to Heaven.

The bible says in Romans 10:9-10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

God promises, that "thou shalt be saved".

It is as simple as believing as that gift is yours (heart) and accepting it with thanks (mouth).

Again God promises in verse 13 of the same chapter "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Dear Jesus,

I believe that You are the Son of God and that You shed your blood, died and rose from the grave for me. I now ask You to forgive me of my sin and come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour. Give me Your gift of eternal life in Heaven. Help me now to live for You, and thank you Lord Jesus for saving me. These things I pray in Jesus name, Amen.
